I would like to have some advice please. I have knit the Mandarin Wrap using the suggested spa yarn. When finished with the knitting it tells you to block it. I bought the foam puzzle mats and the blocking wires and t-pins and tried blocking my wrap. I misted it with water to get it wet and stretched it to the desired size and used the blocking wires and pins to secure it. I let it dry and it is better shaped than when I started, but the points are not clean and crisp. Please help me learn how to block this wrap correctly. Thank you.
Hi Johanne,
You may find that steam-blocking the wrap will work even better. First, pin the wrap and points to the desired size, then hover over the wrap with an iron and release steam. Be careful not to let the iron touch the yarn!
