Yes, I did misunderstand rows 127-129 and I'm so embarassed that you wasted that time. I was trying to do that row 3 times instead of once. I must have been sleepy. LOL
Thank you so much, you're the best!

Jacqui, I ran your question by our tech editor, who replied:

We've reviewed the instructions for Rows 7-130 of the Jacket, and have found no errors. Perhaps there is a misunderstanding. I hope the following explanations will help:
1. Make sure that the last row worked before working Rows 127-129, is a Row 6. There are a total of 126 - 6 = 120 rows in the range, Row 7-126.
Accordingly, Rows 7-126 repeat Rows 3-6 a total of 120 / 4 = 30 times, ending with a Row 6.
2. Then work Rows 127-129, by working Rows 3-5. This should definitely be possible, because Row 3 can be worked after a Row 6 (as was done when working Rows 7-126).
3. Then work Row 130. Row 129 was a Row 5. Row 5 has 34 sc and 11 V-sts.
Each V-st consists of 2 dc sts and 3 chains between the 2 dc sts, for a total of 5 sts in each V-st. Row 130 says to work an sc in the first sc and in each ch and st across. This means that you will work an sc in each of the
34 sc, and 5 sc in each V-st (one sc in the first dc, one sc in each of the
3 chains, and one sc in the last dc). This will give you a total of 34 (for the sc's) + 5 x 11 (for the V-sts) = 34 + 55 = 89 sc.

Hope this helps!

Caron yarn is so soft and has so many beautiful colors, I don't use anything else unless I'm making rugs. I have a problem with the Sherbrook elongated summer jacket. I get all the way to rows 127-129 to repeat rows 3-5 and can't seem to follow the pattern without *row 6*. I am so close to finishing this gorgeous piece of work. Am I missing something.
thank you

Hi, Jonette
I am currently in Rwanda working on the project here, but I'll send your question to the designer and I'm sure she'll reply to you. Sorry about the problem - and sorry for the delay in replying. I'll put up a post to let people know my replies will be limited through next week.
