Hmmmm.....not sure about that.  There are just some things in crochet that wouldn&#039;t work out for knitting and vice-versa and I think the Avalon top is one of those designs.  The openwork is so characteristic of crochet that it just wouldn&#039;t translate in knitting.  You could, however, work the yoke in crochet and do an openwork knit stitch for the sleeves and body, ending with the crocheted edging.  But that too would require a good knowledge of crochet.  I&#039;ll be sure to let Doris know how much you like her design (Doris only designs for crochet).
