GAUGE: Exact gauge is not critical for this project, stitching should be tight.
STITCHES USED: Chain (ch), Double crochet (dc), Half double crochet (hdc), Single crochet (sc), Slip stitch (slip st)
SPECIAL TERMS: sc2tog: Single crochet 2 together—Insert hook in next stitch, yarn over and pull up a loop (two loops on hook), insert hook into next stitch, yarn over and pull up a loop, yarn over and draw through all three loops on hook.
NOTES: All yarn used is split into 2 strands of 2 plies each. Use 2 plies of yarn throughout. Do not join rounds. Place a marker in the last stitch of round and move up as rounds progress.
AMIGURUMI
Head and Body
Cut 7 1/2 yds of A and split. With A, ch 2.
Round 1: 6 sc in 2nd ch from hook, do not join—6 sc. Place marker in last stitch.
Round 2: 2 sc in each st around—12 sc.
Round 3: *Sc in next 2 sts, 2 sc in next st; repeat from * around—16 sc.
Rounds 4-5: Sc in each st around.
Round 6: *Sc in next 2 sts, sc2tog over next 2 sts; repeat from * around—12 sts.
Round 7: *Sc in next st, sc2tog over next 2 sts; repeat from * around— 8 sts. Stuff the amigurumi and continue to stuff as work progresses.
Rounds 8-9: Sc in each st around.
Round 10: *Sc in next st, 2 sc in next st; repeat from * around—12 sts.
Round 11: *Sc in next 2 sts, 2 sc in next st; repeat from * around—16 sc.
Round 12: *Sc in next 3 sts, 2 sc in next st; repeat from * around—20 sc.
Round 13-14: Sc in each st around.
Round 15: *Sc in next 4 sts, 2 sc in next st; repeat from * around—24 sc.
Rounds 16-20: Sc in each st around.
Round 23: *Sc in next 2 sts, sc2tog over next 2 sts; repeat from * around—18 sts.
Round 24: [Sc2tog over next 2 sts] 9 times—9 sts.
Round 25: [Sc2tog over next 2 sts] 4 times, sc in next st—5 sts. Fasten off leaving a long sewing length. With yarn needle, weave sewing length through final round of sts, pull tight and secure.
Snout
With A, ch 2.
Round 1: 4 sc in 2nd ch from hook, do not join—4 sc. Place marker in last stitch.
Round 2: 2 sc in each st around—8 sc.
Rounds 3-4: Sc in each st around. Fasten off leaving a long sewing length. Stuff snout. With yarn needle and sewing length, sew snout to center front of head as pictured.
Ear (make 2)
With A, ch 5.
Round 1: Hdc in 2nd ch from hook, hdc in next ch, sc in next ch, 3 sc in last ch, working across opposite side of foundation ch, sc in next ch, hdc in next 2 ch, do not join. Fasten off leaving a long sewing length. With yarn needle and sewing length, sew flat side of one ear to each side of head toward back as pictured.
Arm (make 2)
With A, ch 2.
Round 1: 6 sc in 2nd ch from hook, do not join—6 sc. Place marker in last stitch.
Rounds 2-4: Sc in each st around.
Round 5: *Sc in next 2 sts, 2 sc in next st; repeat from * once—8 sc.
Rounds 6-7: Sc in each st around. Stuff lightly.
Round 8: [Sc2tog over next 2 sts] 4 times—4 sc. Fasten off leaving a long sewing length. With yarn needle and sewing length, sew one arm to each side of body, below neck as pictured.
Tail
With A, ch 2.
Round 1: 5 sc in 2nd ch from hook, do not join—5 sc. Place marker in last stitch.
Round 2-4: Sc in each st around.
Rounds 5-7: *Sc in next 2 sts, 2 sc in next st; repeat from * once, sc in next st—7 sc.
Round 8: *Sc in next st, 2 sc in next st; repeat from * 2 times, 2 sc in next st—11 sc.
Rounds 9-10: Sc in each st around.
Rounds 11-12: Sc in next 3 sts, hdc in next 5 sts, sc in next 3 sts—6 sc; 5 hdc. Fasten off leaving a long sewing length. Stuff tail. With yarn needle and sewing length, sew tail to bottom center back as pictured.
Leg (make 2)
With A, ch 2.

Round 8: *Sc in next st, sc2tog over next 2 sts; repeat from * 3 times, sc in next 2 sts—10 sc. Stuff leg and continue to stuff as work progresses.
Round 9: *Sc in next 3 sts, sc2tog over next 2 sts; repeat from * once—8 sc.
Rounds 10-11: Sc in each st around.

FINISHING: With yarn needle, and B, straight st 2 eyes on front of head; with C, straight st 2 nostrils on front of snout as pictured. Weave in ends.

row3; sc2tog in next 2 sc, 2 times
row4: sc2tog in last 2 sc
row5: leave about 5 cm of yarn then ch 1 and cut off access

i love your pattern its a really good size and adorable
i did it in purple and found it was really quick and easy. i changed the ears a bit though to make them pointier :
row 1 : ch 5
row 2 : sc in all 5 ch’s
row 3 : sc2tog in next sc, * 2 times
row 4: sc2tog in next sc
row 5 : leave a 10 cm tail for sewing on and ch 1 to finish
then sew them on
